Girls Lacrosse of Poway is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation.  We are approved by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization.  Our goal is to develop and promote the sport of lacrosse and coordinate open competition in the sport to girls age 18 years and younger.

Girls lacrosse is a California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) recognized sport at the high school level.  Yet at the middle and high school level, teams receive no financial support from the school or district.  As a result, players must rely on either parent or community support or grants from Girls Lacrosse of Poway to meet the needs of their team.

Individual players are asked each season to participate in fundraising activities to cover most of the expenses of their team.  Despite their valiant efforts, fundraising does not cover all of the program's expenses, such as coaches' salaries, referee fees, uniforms, balls, goals and nets, and many other costs needed to run a successful program.

Girls Lacrosse of Poway is asking families and community members to participate in helping fund the girls lacrosse programs at our schools.  Please consider pledging to benefit either the middle school or high school programs or both.  Donations should be made out to Girls Lacrosse of Poway and can be sent to
